Refreshing and raw

There is simply no words that I need to speak
except for functional, normal life
No great revelations
No great taking on of sufferings due to clinging, avoiding or indulging.
Just all is normal ordinary life

The preferences I still notice
I notice I prefer to feel upbeat, rather than depressed
But even those preferences seem to be leaving me
I enjoy both a little closer to equal than ever I have

Slowly, slowly the opening of all that is dawns on my awareness
Deeper and deeper I sink into this vast space of openness
Where I am all of it and all of it is me
And there is no 'me'

I have been parting with prized possessions this week
my guitar, accordion, hides and firs, beads, my hand made traditional dress
these have been the life blood of who I thought myself to be.
It is pulling roots of my old identity from deep in my psyche
Refreshing and raw

A new world is opening up
I cannot drag the old conditioning with me
I cannot fly with the weight of the baggage
I do not wish to intellectualize, only to share my experience of awakening
in a real and simple way
